Remote Site Reliability Engineer - US

About the Role

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will work closely with developers and DevOps to design, implement and support high performance and SLA on key services across the Crypto.com ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maximum uptime for multiple production systems
• Contribute to system architecture design
• Define report metrics and provide insights to improve system performance and scalability
• Identify problems and propose solutions and processes to solve them
• Utilize third party tools or build in-house tools to monitor, automate or support operations and processes
• Continuously improve operation documentation and support handbook

Requirements

• A strong interest in working in technology and/or financial environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Deep understanding of SRE philosophy, technologies, platforms and tools, SLA management, incident resolution, and automation
• Experience in implementing, maintaining and optimizing large scale mission critical system
• Experience in managing AWS Service, Terraform, Kubernetes
• Experience in Automated Failover, Backups and Recovery strategies
• Experience in Infra architecture design, monitoring, and application/ DB performance tuning
• Experience in Stress test setup and execution
• Experience in Java or Nodejs
• Experience in MQ/ Event Driven architecture design (eg: RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Experience in monitoring tools (eg, NewRelic, AWS Cloudwatch, Bugsnag)
• Experience in Blue Green deployment
• Experience in AWS CDK is a plus
• Candidates with more experience will be considered for senior position
