Remote Frontend Developer - AUS

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related fields
• 4 to 7 years of relevant working experience at least 3 years in front-end development experience with proficiency or familiarity with Chrome Extension development
• Understanding of the core principles of the front-end frameworks used in VueJS or ReactJS; or NextJS or AngularJS.
• Hands-on proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript with understanding of common HTML5 features, ES6 specification, good at page layout and refactoring, browser operation principles, browser compatibility and page rendering execution efficiency, Chrome debugging.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and design patterns.
• Familiar with RESTful API and GraphQL. familiar with data transfer between front-end and back-end, and able to work efficiently with back-end engineers.
• Proficiency in module management and packaging tools (Webpack, etc.).

Good to have:

• Experience contributing to Github projects, especially ReactJS or VueJS projects is preferred.
• Familiar with Nginx, front-end project operations and deployment preferred.
• Familiarity with any of the back-end technologies: Nodejs, Ruby on Rails, Elixir, Java and any of the databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, etc. is a plus.
• Knowledge of, or experience with blockchain and cryptocurrency, stock trading and blockchain financial transactions is a plus
• Experience in open source is preferred.
• Written and spoken proficiency in English
